Tinplate Limited

In 1999, Siddiqsons Group grew from being the largest denim manufacturer and exporter to the first and the only tinplate producer in Pakistan. The production facility was established in Winder, Baluchistan and was inaugurated in collaboration with SOLLAC of France and Metal One Corporation (Subsidiary of Mitsubishi) of Japan.

Siddiqsons Tinplate Limited is equipped with cutting-edge technology to produce 120,000 tons of tinplate annually and is also the only company in the group which is listed on the Karachi Stock Exchange.

Siddiqsons Tinplate plans to add a backward integration facility to its existing manufacturing unit by establishing a Cold Rolling Plant by 2020 with a production capacity of 200,000 tons per annum. The plant will be used to produce Cold rolling coil (CRC) as well as Tin Mill Black Plat (TMBP); and when completed, it will be the third Cold Rolling Plant of its kind in Pakistan.

Energy Limited

In line with the Group’s corporate strategy to expand its footprint in other businesses, Siddiqsons has entered in the power sector in 2014. The Group aims to resolve the critical issue of the energy crisis in the country and has started its investment in thermal & renewable power projects to contribute towards an economic energy mix in Pakistan.
Siddiqsons Energy Limited in collaboration with Engro Energy Limited and Arif Habib Equity Private Limited, is in the advanced development phase of 330MW Thar Coal Mine Mouth Power Plant at Thar Block II in Tharparkar, Sindh. This plant will be the first indigenous coal-fired super-critical power plant in Pakistan comprising state-of-the-art, advanced super-critical technology for the plant to be more efficient and resulting in a lower carbon footprint. Siddiqsons understands that low-cost electricity is essential for the economic growth and stability of the country and the Thar-coal fired power plant is the key to addressing this issue. The project will start supplying energy to the National grid after three years of construction and be fully operational in 2021. Siddiqsons Energy endeavors for the brighter future of Pakistan and believes in innovating, energizing and powering up, by turning conceptions into reality.
To fulfill its commitment to environment sustainability, Siddiqsons Group is also going green with alternative renewable energy power projects including Hydro and Solar with a cumulative capacity of over 600MW. The group also has an alliance with foreign renowned companies for developing its solar power and hydro power projects across Pakistan. These projects are strategically located in Khyber Pakhtunkhua (KPK), Punjab, and Azad Jammu & Kashmir.

Under the umbrella of TTA, Ocean Mall and Tower was constructed in 2012 as a joint venture between Siddiqsons Group and Yunus Brothers in Clifton, Karachi.
